Representative Gabby Giffords' office was vandalized in the heat of the 2010 election. In this interview on MSNBC, she was asked if she was scared. She said she wasn't. She didn't stop meeting constituents afterwards either. Less than a year later, someone tried to assassinate her by shooting her in the head. She survived. Her husband is former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, the last pilot of the Space Ship Endeavour, who launched into space just weeks after the attempted assassination. Believe me, this is a woman who comes from strength.
