Hello. I decided to start a new series of blogs about the issues going on today. I can't cover everything, but writing it all down will help me stay organized as I feel my way through this strange era.
Main topics I will cover are things I am involved in. While this includes local issues, such as homelessness, it also will include things I've experianced on social media, like bots and blocklists.
I've give you some background: Former Navy Master at Arms who was disgusted at police culture and how widespread it is.
Studied film in College, now films protests and special events and am currently producing a film for the Alfred Olango Foundation.
Student of history who has published a book on San Diego's cultural roots. I see history repeating itself as San Diego county attempts to dehumanize and push the homeless into the mountains, like they once did to the native Kumeyaay.
Last, there is a resistance that has grown against the recent hate and bigotry springing up since last year's election. On Facebook and Twitter, bots and Russian trolls have infultrated the system. Trolls have managed to build a block list of prominate resistance members. They then trick new Resistance members into thinking that it is a bot block list, thus blocking their access to others.
I will explain all of this in beyter detail in time. For now I leave you with some of my past videos.
